About UsThis is a featured page

The Mountain Community Co-op offers healthy choices to the rural Eatonville region, including south Pierce and north Lewis Counties. We provide organic and natural food and markets for locally produced goods and services, encourage environmental sustainability, and provide education and information on these topics.

Natural and organic food choices are offered through our buying club and storefront located in Eatonville, Washington. We make locally produced foods and products available through our store and seasonal outdoor market. If you are interested in special orders, we can help you through our buying club. We also offer money saving organic produce shares. Check out our price comparisons under the Organic Produce menu.

We offer a variety of items for special dietary needs. The Store menu describes items we carry for those who have lactose intolerance, wheat allergies, high blood pressure, diabetic needs, dyes and perfume allergies, and other special dietary needs.

Members and Non-members can shop in the store and order through the Buying Club and Organic Produce Shares.
However, we encourage membership in the Mountain Community Co-op. It is the members and a dedicated Board of Directors that have created, help sustain, and encourage growth of the Co-op.

If you are interested in becoming a member, click here. If you are looking for a volunteer job, visit our Volunteer Opportunities page.

We produce a quarterly newsletter, which is sent to all members and posted on this website. We also include monthly electronic newsletters. Our Recipes pages features organic food products sold at the Coop or through the Organic Produce Share.

We also have a weekly newsletter sent via email to members and available for viewing on this site.

Please check out our Strategic Plan. The results of a membership survey conducted in 2008 are also available on the Strategic Planning page.
